Induction Annealing is a heat treatment process which involves heating of material above its recrystallization temperature. The aim is to reach and maintain a suitable temperature for enough time followed by proper cooling.Annealing is used to reverse the effects of work hardening, which can occur during processes such as bending, cold forming or drawing. If the material becomes too hard it can make working impossible or result in cracking.
