Description

The Digital Box Compression Tester with LCD Screen, Capacity: Up To 2000 Kgf measures how much weight a box withstands before it collapses. The reading error stays within one percent of the top scale value and the smallest step the display shows is 100 grams. The platen moves between 10 and 50 millimetres per minute - for standard tests it keeps a fixed pace of 12.5 millimetres per minute and or minus 2.5. The unit plugs into a normal 220-volt, single phase, 50-hertz wall outlet. A back lit LCD panel shows the force value while the test runs. Steel plus aluminium parts form a rigid frame that lasts under repeated use. Corrugated cartons shipping cases and other packages fit between the platens for a crush check. Plants use the results to prove that their boxes hold up in warehouses and trucks.
