Description

The process of conducting inspections shall be made more meaningful and simple! Startups shall be allowed to self-certify with 9 Labour Laws and 3 Environment Laws. In case of the labour laws, no inspections will be conducted for a period of 3 to 5 years. Income Tax Exemption NotificationsThe Inter-Ministerial Board setup by Department of Industrial Policy and Promotion validates Startups for granting tax related benefits. The Board comprises of the following members: Joint Secretary, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, ConvenerRepresentative of Department of Biotechnology, MemberRepresentative of Department of Science & Technology, MemberThe board shall validate startups for the Income Tax Exemption on profits under Section 80-IAC of Income Tax Act: Application by company to ROC for removing its name from register of Companies
