Description
The suction strainer is a valve, which is installed at the suction line's inlet to prevent the penetration of dirt. After the pumping operation has been completed, suction strainers with integrated foot valve prevent the suction line from running empty.The purpose of a strainer is to remove larger, unwanted suspended particles from a liquid, primarily to protect downstream equipment, like pumps, from damage.
