Cooling Tower

An industrial cooling tower is a specialized heat rejection device that cools heated water from industrial processes or HVAC systems by evaporating a small portion of it into the atmosphere. By bringing air and water into direct contact—often using "fill" to maximize surface area—these towers, such as cross-flow or counter-flow types, efficiently remove waste heat, preventing equipment overheating and increasing energy efficiency in power plants, refineries, and factories.
