Demineralization is the process of removing mineral salts from Water by using the ion exchange process. Demineralised Water is Water completely free ( or almost ) of dissolved minerals as a result of one of the following processes : Distillation.DM (demineralised) water plants are systems used to carry out industrial water treatment. To be more precise, the DM plant remove dissolved solids or minerals from process streams and feed water. These plants remove minerals using any one of the following procedures: Deionisation.While RO is very pure, it is not truly demineralised, and some smaller mineral ions may remain. Demin water systems purify water on a more molecular level, producing a higher level of water purity by removing much smaller minerals and charged ions.
