High Pressure Sodium Vapor Lamps

Lobel high pressure sodium vapour lamps consists of a discharge tube containing sodium and mercury vapour, housed in an outer envelope. It is used in street lighting, godowns, station platform storage yard, parking areas, docks, industrial shop floor bay lighting where color rendition is not of much importanced. The advantages are high efficacy (approximately 100 lm/w), energy saving due to use of less no of luminaries and more life.
