Direct injection is the process of introducing a molten material, commonly TPR, PVC or PU, into the cavity of a mold to achieve desired shape. This process can be used for the production of outsoles, decorative details or to join an outsole to upper directly. The latter is known as DIP or Direct Injection Process.The injection molding machine melts the plastic which is then injected into the mold. This molten plastic is then cooled and solidified to take the shape of the final product. Uses of Injection Molding: Injection molding is used to create thin-walled plastic elements for a large variety of applications.
