Description
What Is Ice Gola? Ice gola is a traditional Indian shaved ice dessert from Mumbai. Also known as an ice lolly, snow cone or Mumbai's Slurpee, to Mumbaikars (those native to Mumbai) it is simply called gola.Such ice candy is extremely unhygienic, however tempting it may look, say experts. According to Dr Alok Bharadwaj, secretary, IMA and child specialist, all the ingredients including ice, sugar and colours that are used to prepare the ice gola are harmful.
