Description
An ID card printer is a machine that prints on a plastic (PVC) card. They are used to print employee ID badges, membership cards, credit cards and more. ID card printers work the same way a typical inkjet printer does.Plastic card printers are printers specialised in printing to rectangular plastic substrates. The most popular card printers use a process called thermal transfer and are used to put text or an image onto a card.A printer is a device that accepts text and graphic output from a computer and transfers the information to paper, usually to standard-size, 8.5" by 11" sheets of paper. Printers vary in size, speed, sophistication and cost.
