Other Details:- Quick and Accurate Fixture Location. The Ball Lock Mounting System provides a method of quickly and accurately locating fixtures onto machine tables. Fixtures can often be exchanged in less than a minute and with position repeatability of +/-13 microns The system comprises of a locating and clamping shank, reveiver bushing and a liner bushing The shank has three balls in the periphery and one in the center. When the center ball is actauted via a set screw, it in turn pushes the balls in the periphery and these get locked on the taper seat provided in the receiver buashing.The precise location is provided by the precision liner bushing. Thus locating and clamping happens in a single action. The receiver bushing is mounted in the subplate, which is fixed permenantly to the machine table. The liners are mounted in the fixture plate . The subplate and the fixture plate are joined together by a locating and clamping shank. These assemblies together comprise the ball lock mounting system.
