Rescue Boat with Davit

A rescue boat with davit is a SOLAS-approved, compact shipboard system designed for fast, secure, and safe launching/recovery of a rescue boat or liferaft, typically using hydraulic slewing (pivoting) and gravitational lowering. These systems, featuring single-arm, telescopic, or A-frame designs, include electric winches, shock absorbers for rough seas, and remote-controlled operation from inside the boat.
