The Steel Wire Ring Making Machine, Automation Grade: Semi-Automatic, Capacity: 4to16mm works at a semi automatic level and forms rings from steel wire between 4 mm and 16 mm thick. A 1440 rpm motor drives the bending head plus keeps each turn smooth and accurate. The frame is heavy steel plate but also box section, bolted to a welded base - it does not flex during long production runs. An operator sets the ring diameter on a hand wheel, feeds the straightened wire through guide rollers and presses a foot pedal - the machine then bends, cuts as well as drops a finished ring while the worker loads the next length. Contractors use the rings for concrete reinforcement, fence posts and duct frames - fabricators use them as flanges, clamps besides lifting eyes. Output stays uniform within ±2 mm on circumference - secondary welding or tying is faster. One worker can supervise two machines and turn out 600 - 800 rings per eight hour shift, a rate that covers most medium scale projects without the cost of a fully automatic line.
