Key Features and SpecificationsThe HVOT tubing is made from a cross-linked polyolefin material that is UV-stabilized and flame-retardant. It is a key component in Raychem medium voltage heat shrink terminations. Application: Used for indoor and outdoor medium voltage cable terminations (typically 1 kV to 36 kV). It protects the underlying cable insulation from erosion caused by leakage currents, particularly in areas of high electrical stress and environmental contamination.
