Three Phase 415 V 90 A 50 HP SSD Oil Starter

The SKN Bentex SSD Motor Starter is a common type of oil-immersed three-phase motor starter primarily used in Indian agricultural and industrial settings for submersible pumps and machinery. "SSD" typically refers to an Oil Immersed Star-Delta Starter. This mechanism temporarily reduces the high starting current of large induction motors by initially connecting windings in a 'star' configuration, then switching to 'delta' for normal running. The oil-immersion helps in suppressing the electrical arc that occurs during switching, thereby enhancing contact life and overall durability. It provides essential protection against thermal overload and electrical faults for motors generally ranging
