CB05 – Chair Base Replacement, 28 Inch Heavy Duty(2500 Lbs) Metal Leg

Take the broken part and a similar undamaged part to the millwork or woodworking shop for duplication. Carefully clean the old adhesive from the joints. Then reassemble the chair with the new part, gluing each joint. Clamp the chair with strap clamps until the adhesive dries, and then refinish the chair completely.Clamps are a must for furniture repair; you will probably use clamps more than any other tool. Fortunately, clamps are inexpensive (except wooden hand screws) so you can probably afford a good assortment. C-clamps look like large letter C's with a turnscrew at the bottom, hence the name.
