Static Road Roller

Road rollers use the weight of the vehicle to compress the surface being rolled (static) or use mechanical advantage (vibrating).Static rollers lack a hydraulic system and vibratory-inducing mechanisms, where they instead gain their compacting capability from raw weight and the practice of oscillation, with the use of hexpad, sheepsfoot or tamper-type drum wheels.
