What are SS Ladder Cable Ties These are cable ties made of stainless steel (grades such as SS304 or SS316) with a "ladder" design—i.e. slots or rungs along the strap so that the locking pawl can engage at multiple points. They are used in environments where normal nylon cable ties may fail (high temperature, chemical / corrosive, vibration, UV, etc.). They often come in uncoated (bare stainless) and coated (e.g. polyester / epoxy coating) versions. The coating can protect the bundled items and provide additional corrosion resistance (but may limit the upper temperature rating).
