High-mast lighting is a tall pole with lighting attached to the top pointing towards the ground, usually but not always used to light a highway or recreational field. It is used at sites that require lighting over a large area.A Solar PV White- LED High Mast Light consist of white LED luminary of maximum 4*18 Watt ( LED. + Driver) as per configuration along with solar PV modules and battery of given capacity, necessary control electronics-inter connecting wires / cables, module mounting structures etc. to operate the load for dusk to dawn.'Masthead light' means a white light placed over the fore and aft centreline of the vessel showing an unbroken light over an arc of the horizon of 225 degrees and so fixed as to show the light from right ahead to 22.5 degrees abaft the beam on either side of the vessel.
