Tensile Fabric Car Parking Shed

A tensile car parking structure is a construction of elements carrying only tension and no compression or bending. The term tensile should not be confused with tensegrity, which is a structural form with both tension and compression elements. A prefabricated structure called a car shed is made to keep a car, tractor, bus, or other types of vehicle. Modular garages, portable garages, and garage sheds are other names for car sheds.
