Traction Batteries

Traction battery means an assembly of accumulators constituting the storage of energy used for powering the traction motor(s) of the vehicle.Traction batteries are used to propel battery-powered electric vehicles such as forklifts, electric golf carts, ride-on floor scrubbers, mining locomotives and a whole host of other vehicles.Traction battery pack: Stores electricity for use by the electric traction motor. Transmission (electric): The transmission transfers mechanical power from the electric traction motor to drive the wheels.
