Part Name: Lower Link End / Lower Link Ball Joint Link End Category: 3-Point Hitch / Lower Linkage / Draft Link / Hitch Component Function: Attaches the lower link arm of the tractor's 3-point hitch to the implement's hitch pin or stabilizer — provides pivotal joint and secure connection for implements. Typical Application: Suitable for tractors using a 3-point hitch system (Category II / III / as specified) Used with lower link arms (left-hand or right-hand) to connect implements such as ploughs, harrows, seeders, trailers, etc. Construction & Key Features: Heavy-duty forged or machined ball joint or hook-end for secure and flexible hitching under load. Weld-on or bolt-on design (depending on tractor model / linkage configuration) — ensures strong structural integrity for heavy implements. Compatible with the corresponding lower link arm (LH or RH) on the tractor. Fitment / Compatibility Data: Works on a wide range of New Holland tractors (utility to medium/heavy duty) when matched with correct hitch category and link arm. OEM or part numbers vary per model — always check tractor model, year, and which side (left or right) before ordering. Usage Notes (from User / Service Manual Guidance): When hitching implements, align the lower link ball end with the implement hitch pin; insert hitch pin and secure with cotter/linch-pin. Use hydraulic or mechanical position control (if available) to adjust the link height for proper implement attachment — helps prevent undue stress on linkage.
