Vacuum Tray Dryer

A vacuum tray dryer is an industrial drying machine that dries materials through the use of a vacuum. It is widely used in the chemical, pharmaceutical, and food industries to dry materials such as plastic powder and electrodes. Various types of materials can be dried in a vacuum tray dryer. Vacuum-drying is proposed to alleviate some disadvantages of hot-air-drying. The main purpose of vacuum-drying is to allow the removal of moisture under vacuum and hence at a lower temperature condition and oxygen content (Reis, 2014). Vacuum-drying is therefore suitable for heat- and oxygen-sensitive materials.
