UNDERVOLTAGE RELEASE SUPPLY VOLTAGE 220/240V DC/AC E1/6-T8The undervoltage release opens the circuit-breaker in the case of a considerable drop or lack of its power supply voltage. It can be used for remotetripping (by means of normally closed type pushbuttons), as a lock on closing or to control the voltage in the primary and secondary circuits.The release power supply is therefore branched on the supply side of the circuit-breaker or from an independent source. Circuit-breaker closing is only allowed with the release powered (the closing lock is carried out mechanically). Most of the releases can operate with either direct or alternating current
