UV Water Treatment System

The Uv Water Treatment System is designed for the disinfection of water, effectively removing bacteria, viruses, and other microorganisms. A wall mounted device sends a thin beam of short wave ultraviolet light through a quartz tube that sits inside the water pipe. The beam breaks the genetic material of bacteria, viruses and protozoa so they lose the ability to multiply. A metal cover blocks the light from escaping plus a small circuit sounds a buzzer if the lamp stops working. Users open the chamber once every few months, wipe the clear sleeve and install a new lamp. The housing, electronics but also lamp arrive unused, were assembled in India and are sold by firms that test each unit before shipment.
