SurTec® 609 EC is a phosphate-free, trivalent chromium-based pre-treatment for multi-metal surfaces that improves corrosion protection and lacquer adhesion prior to e-coating. It creates a uniform, nanometer-scale conversion layer that is robust against flash rust and has no mapping effect on e-coats. This product offers a significant cost reduction compared to traditional zinc phosphate processes and is environmentally friendly, free of zinc, nickel, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs)
